Preparing for the PA-CAT
The PA-CAT test resources were developed to assist candidates in preparation for the exam. The full suite of study resources provides an overview of the subjects and concepts important to successfully preparing for the PA-CAT. Each of these resources, including 8 subject-specific practice exams, a PA-CAT Practice Test, and the full Pre-Matriculation Success program, are free for candidates upon registration for the PA-CAT.
To access these free PA-CAT test preparation materials, first register to take the PA-CAT. Click the link below to register. Once you have registered, you will receive access instructions for the PA-CAT Study Resources in your Registration email. You only need to register once and can reuse the site as often as you like. If you have registered previously, click the “Login” link to get to the “My Profile” page.
It is recommended that you carefully review your practice test results so you can best identify areas needing improvement before taking the official PA-CAT.
Official PA-CAT Multiple-Choice Practice Test
This multiple-choice test includes test items like those you will find on the actual test, provide explanations for each item, and allows you to print out a diagnostic score report with your results.
PA-CAT Study Guide
This concise study guide contains detailed information about the structure and contents of the PCAT, scoring information, and sample test items. It is the place to start when preparing for your PA-CAT test.
