PA-CAT COVID-19 Updates
Important Updates About the PA-CAT & COVID-19
As the entire world copes with the detrimental impacts of COVID-19, Exam Master shares the deep concerns of students and educators about the effect that the crisis will have on the current and upcoming admissions cycle. We are working tirelessly with our partners at Prometric Testing Centers and clients at PA programs across the country to ensure that students are able to take the PA-CAT safely starting May 1, 2020.
We will continue to provide updates about the PA-CAT here.
We have worked with Prometric to provide a remote proctoring option for the PA-CAT. Scheduling for remote live proctoring is now open, with testing beginning May 1st.
To schedule to take the PA-CAT remotely, and to ensure that your computer meets the technical requirements of Prometric’s live remote proctoring platform visit www.prometric.com/emc. We recommend scheduling to take the PA-CAT exam as early in the cycle as possible to ensure seat availability. Registrants who already have an appointment to take the PA-CAT may reschedule their appointment to take the exam remotely.
For any additional questions, please contact us.
To protect the health of PA school candidates, and to assist candidates and PA programs with meeting their admission timelines, we will be adding the option to take the PA-CAT exam through Prometric’s secure remote proctor. We are working on implementing scheduling for remote testing and will follow-up with another email when it is open. Remote Testing will be available starting May 1st. If you already scheduled your exam at a Prometric testing center you will be able to reschedule your test date to test remotely.
Exam Master has been supporting health professions education and training since 1994. From admissions readiness to pre-matriculation to board preparation, our goal is to support the students and their educators in professions critical to our healthcare system.
Exam Master would like to thank Julie Kinzel and the students at Drexel University's PA program for allowing us to capture their students in action, on their way to becoming PAs!
