Scott Massey, Ph.D. PA-C, has 27 years of PA education experience, including holding leadership positions in 4 PA programs. Currently, he holds the position of tenured professor and director of the Central Michigan University Physician Assistant program.
Dr. Massey worked clinically in the area of family practice, emergency medicine, and international Third World medicine.
Dr. Massey is also an accomplished researcher and author, having presented nationally and internationally more than 75 times. Dr. Massey has published more than a dozen research articles and a textbook, published by FA Davis and used by PA students to prepare for the certification exam. Dr. Massey has served as the co-principal investigator of the PA-CAT research project since early 2018.
Dr. Yealy is an accomplished PA educator and clinician. She currently serves as the Department Chair of the University of Tampa Physician Assistant Program. She has been involved in the successful development of three PA programs in academic health science centers and liberal arts institutions.
Dr. Yealy has held roles in program administration, evaluation and assessment, admissions, clinical placement and as a lecturer. She currently works clinically in Emergency Medicine and serves as a Major in the US Army Reserves. Her Ph.D. dissertation was a predictive model of cognitive factors that contribute to success in PA training.
